In February 2009 the economic downturn hit pretty hard, and although
Chuck had worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida for more than 15 years, his position was
eliminated. It hit the family pretty hard, so we made some changes. One good thing was that
Doug helped by doing the plane's annual inspection, saving us about $1500 all together. Doug is a
great friend! |

With the loss of Chuck's job, we also had to move the plane out of
the hanger and back onto the ramp. A few months in the hanger helped and we were able to get a
lot of minor things fixed that needed it. |
Happily, we rebounded quickly and Chuck is now working for a new company,
the TriServ Alliance, LLC., that is going after the TriCare contract to service insurance needs of
military personnel and their dependents. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to begin building out
the company's computer infrastructure from the ground up. Unfortunately, we will eventually be moving to
Atlanta when the company gets the contract they are bidding on. More updates soon... |
